This unique opportunity to provide service to a County Institutional Health Care Facility required a rework of their main Residential Building Lobby. This facility provides nursing home and geriatric services for the elderly.
The client required an open atmosphere which would enable orderlies to maneuver large wheel chairs and movable beds to be wheeled to waiting vehicles outside the front door. They also required very durable furniture that presented a cozy atmosphere.
Todays Systems specified Spec Inc. furniture using Pennsylvania State Contracts. The seating frames are steel with Crypton upholstery fabric. The reinvigorated space is very comfortable and flexible that alloys reconfiguration of seating as required.
Families now have a great place to meet and spend time with the resident family members. A previously under used lobby is now one of the most important spaces in the facility.
